Summer Weekend - Part 2

Sunday was every bit as wonderful as Saturday, but for distinctly different reasons. Saturday was all about family but Sunday was all about the music! And the All-Access Backstage Pass. How cool was I? Sarah's drummer boyfriend, Ryan, got me a ticket to their concert at Edgefield in Troutdale. If you've never been, it should go to the top of your Summer To Do list; this place is beautiful.


So I got to hang out with the band members back stage, eat catered tacos, and use the LUXURY portapotties. Does it get any better? Why, yes it does! We got prem-o seating on the lawn on an island of quilts and blankets and got to mingle with everyone at the After Party.

When I left at 11:30 the party was still going.

So to recap: Blind Pilot (most awesome people ever), Andrew Bird (most awesome whistler ever) and The Decemberists (quite possibly the coolest band this side of anywhere). And I was there to see it all.
