The Oregon Coast Aquarium is always a favorite stop. Check out those shark teeth - he even brought a stuffed one home. The bird exhibit was closed the last time we went so we were happy to see the puffins and common murres back this go round. I get a serious thrill going through the glass tunnels and watching the sharks pass inches away. They are as creepy and alien and amazing as one would imagine. But the seahorses will always be my favorite.
Who doesn't love to watch sailboats? They were out in full force one sunny afternoon. Our deck was the perfect platform from which to observe. Hey, who are those yahoos down there? Oh, hi family!
