Vacation Part 3
Field Trip! It was a foggy day at the lighthouse. Beach fog isn't like regular fog. You can still see a hint of blue sky beyond the mist (and you can still get a good sunburn, too, if you're not careful!). Aidan was so happy the ladies took pity on him and let him go all the way up (apparently coming down was not quite so thrilling - or perhaps thrilling in a different sort of way!). Good thing Grampa was there to help him back to earth. The Yaquina Bay Lighthouse is five stories tall - not too shabby. Still, I've been up many times - I elected to stay on the ground and let the others have the fun.
Next time: A View From Within. JJ took over the camera for that bit...
