Garter Yoke Baby Cardigan by Jennifer Hoel
This year spring is all about baby knits. Three friends are all having babies in the next few months so naturally I have teeny tiny sweaters on my mind. This is the first of several I have planned, and it turned out just right. The photos are a little muddy (darn March light) but the yellow is just like a daffodil - perfect cheery yarn for gray windy days. Even better, I'd had the yarn sitting in a basket in the living room for more than two years - hurray for stash-busting! The yarn is a twisty sport-weight alpaca from Frog Tree and was nice on the fingers, though it's really kinky until it's blocked. Next up is something in dramatic red - cause it isn't all daffodils and buttercups ya know.

Lucky baby! It came out great. The green band add a nice touch and looks like a design feature. Well done on this one.
And my jealousy knows no bounds.
still adore it! <3
This is beautiful! Love the color...
