A hint of autumn

School buses are out, the leaves are changing, the air is crisper and our pumpkins are growing! It must be fall. This is the first year I have planted these little baby pumpkins and they are proving to be a big hit. Owen and I check their progress every few days. So far we have one nice fat little guy and the rest are tiny little green things that get a little bigger every day.

We went to a park in Sherwood today to play with friends in the sand pit and were dazzled by the trees that line the main road. They have such a gorgeous display - and quite early too as most of the trees in our neighborhood are just coloring around the edges. Our dogwoods are covered in tiny red berries, their leaves on the verge of a spectacular display.

We've all said it before and I'll say it again: "I LOVE FALL!"
