A new day, a new outlook - sort of. I still feel run down and tired, but maybe a little cheerier than before (thanks for the good words, Lynda!). Owen is outside wreaking havoc on the windchimes, but at least he's busy. He woke up with a cold today, but seems no worse for wear. He's certainly in a better mood this evening than he was in the afternoon (oh the drama!) - I'm so glad he has the backyard in which to burn off steam. And I have my latest crochet project:

I'm planning on doing enough to make a pillow for the couch. Why buy throw pillows when I have enough yarn to make my own??

Sometimes I long for the days when I have more time to play, but then Owen hops on his trike and rides off down the hallway with a squirt bottle and a plastic lightbulb in the back and I remember just what playing is...

lol, wish I could see Owen having such fun. Love the granny squares.
Oh sis! You are wonderful. I got some sweet new yarn from a friend as a b-day gift. You will see it soon! It's on my to-do list before I fly to San Diego. I love reading your posts. You are much better with words than I. It's good we have many similarities and yet are different! xoxoxoxoxo
Love all those colors together! Hope you're feeling better and Owen's cold doesn't last too long...Gabriel's been sick most of the week, so I can relate...
