For some reason, the photo is downloading sideways, but I just couldn't resist posting this little bit of loveliness that I made a few days ago. It has no home, but looks quite fetching, I think. It seemed pretty complex (to a beginner like me), but I managed with only two or three froggings. The yarn is boring old acrylic - I bought various shades of blue for a coverlet for Owen's bed and wanted it to be washable (since it's acrylic, it should be darn well indestructible unless he melts it in the microwave) - I was playing around with my new books by Jan Eaton (200 Ripple Stitches, 200 Stitches for Baby Blankets and 200 Granny Squares). Love, Love, LOVE these books!

I love your granny square and the combination you have put together. What a shame there are no little hearts to give it here hehe.

So pretty and lacy!
If nothing else, frame it!
