The cats are so glad Spring is here. They've been running in and out of the house all week (and I've been playing doorman). Owen has been doing the same (except he can work the door himself). Give the kid a full squirt bottle and he's off and running: "watering" the plants, spraying bugs and cats, windows and his slide. Occasionally he comes back with a pilfered tulip or two ("Here go, Mama!") or sometimes a half squashed bug ("I found pet, Mama!"). Owen has gotten very good about taking his shoes or boots off before stepping off the doormat and lining them up outside the door (thank you, Nana). He's so cute these days.
Not to be outdone, Aidan rode in a shopping cart for the very first time today. He looked so small in his footie pjs, sitting up and gazing at everything at Home Depot. Way too small to be so big! He didn't even try to chew on the rails or lick the seat - I was quite proud. I took a photo with my phone, but it didn't take for some reason. I'll have to try again; it's just too precious to miss!

Thanks for all the great kiddie imagery, Erin. It just makes me smile when I read (see) it.
Ah, the joys of spring - just be glad you don't have a backdoor with a screen door to slam every trip in/out - THOSE were the days!!!
My cat's doing the same thing only she's frolicking in the autumn leaves. Oh for spring! I love your photos too Erin.
