Checking in

It's been such a long and busy week... and it's only Wednesday!  Some weeks are just overwhelming, you know?  Mostly it's self-imposed, so I have no one to blame, really.  The thing to do, I think, is to stop thinking about everything I have to do and just get down to the business of doing it (I hear a shoe company cheering somewhere).  I have three quilts to make for preschool (more on that soon, I hope) and I'm so excited about how they will come together - I want to do justice to the terrific artwork the kids have produced.  It'll be a whole post all by itself.  I also have been thinking a lot about organization as the days get shorter and we spend more time inside.  How can we be more harmonious in our little house?  Not having mountains of laundry on the bed, heaps of dirty dishes on the counter and piles of detritus in the garage would help.  I think I'm gearing up for a big end-of-year purge.  The very idea fills me with peace and exhaustion at the same time.  Can she do it?  Yes, she can!

You're a better woman than I am. You know if you throw something out you are going to need it as soon as it is gone....
I should really find some words of encouragement shouldn't I?
Less is more, chuck it out :)

Purging sounds good. I did that last year and it made a difference on how my place looked and felt.
