Is there such a thing as too many vacation photos?

We went camping last weekend at Rockaway, near the jetty.  On the edge of our campsite was a driftwood field.  To get across you have to jump from log to log (and hope the one you leap upon doesn't roll beneath your feet!).  They also made excellent perches from which to stargaze.

The driftwood has been laying out in the sun for years turning it soft and white.

We climbed down a precarious path along the cliffs and found a small rocky paradise.  There was no one but us around, free to explore, build impromptu forts, eat snacks and fish.

I love this photo - he looks so serious!

Oh, that water is so blue.  I could stare at it forever.  Seriously, I wish I never had to leave.

We caught about eight of these big perch, filleted them, fried them up and ate them for dinner.  Delicious!  This was one of the best camping trips ever.  Oh, and I wore my sweater every morning and every night and it was PERFECT - warm and snuggly and I was enormously pleased with its performance!

No such thing as too many photos, no such thing as too much vacation!

Well written Katie but I am going to add a condition to that -
as long as you are not all vacationed out before the BIG one!!
Love seeing the photos, thanks!

So peaceful! It's so nice to spend time outdoors appreciating how beautiful wildlife is. Hopefully we can keep it that way for a long long time.
