Work work work
This is the mess that sits on the coffee table in the living room. Part one of the Two Way Ruffle Scarf is done and the outer, lacier portion is in the initial stages. I'd never used Kidsilk Haze before, but I think I might be in love. Gosh, but this stuff is soft - and so light, it's like knitting with a really strong cobweb. Cool. Owen thinks I should make him a blanket out if it - kid's got taste, obviously. The black yarn is a big ball of kitchen cotton that will very soon be a little puppy for an almost-three year old friend's birthday. And there are some babies on their way throughout the year, some worthy friends in need of a few special hand knits, and oh, I don't know - lots of reasons to keep this girl busy with sticks and string all year long.
Don't hear me complaining, do you??
