A year of tens

In 2011:

Ten years at his job
Ten years with three black furry cats
Ten years in this house
Ten years of marriage

We've already remarked on this several times this year and it surprises me every time I think about it.  Ten years passed in the blink of an eye - though I distinctly remember some of it grinding by like a glacier moving across the tundra.  I realize I had no real idea of what I would be doing or who I would be when I looked ahead ten years ago, and I don't think I'm too clear on the next ten years either, but I believe some of the many questions I asked in the last ten years will start to find a few answers in this next decade - or if not answered, then at least reconsidered under a more thoughtful frame of mind.  Zora Neale Hurston said, "There are years that ask questions, and years that answer."  I think I'd like to hear some of those answers...

Right now Erin you are making it happen :D You have lots of fun times ahead and a very big holiday somewhere in that future.

And Blue Monkey says: It's great! Keep going :)))
Also I really like this tundra reference. IT's so true... and not true at the same time.
Silly Blue Monkey, can't make her mind, but all the best wishes.
