Where did November go??

leaves

Today is the perfect kind of November day when the wind is whipping through the trees, the leaves are all flying down in whirling eddies and the sky is spitting rain from iron colored clouds. This morning Owen's preschool class went on a trip to the grocery store (oh Trader Joes, I love you so) and when we were done we stopped to buy a tin of peppermint flavored hot chocolate mix. Pretty soon you'll find me curled up in an arm chair with a pile of wool in my lap and a cup of cocoa on the armrest. Do your worst, November!

The grocery store? What kind of an outing is that? If I were a kindergartner, I would have to protest. In fact, I am going to protest anyways. I don't LIKE the grocery store. The grocery store is booo-oooring! Hot chocolate notwithstanding.

Ah, but the kids LOVED it - they got to go to the back and watch the Box Crusher smash boxes into cardboard pulp!

What's not to love about Trader Joe's?
