We started pulling out the Halloween decorations last night - light up ghosts, black cat candle holders and the little costumed critters are all big hits with the kids - but I love the autumnal pumpkins and gourds the best. They're so pretty piled up in bowls or sitting on the sideboard in plump orange groups. There's just something so cozy and homey about pumpkins, isn't there? I'm so looking forward to carving jack-o-lanterns and goblin gourds when Halloween draws near!
