I decided to make Red Velvet Cupcakes!! Also, a quiche that is tried and true. It's a Swedish recipe that I converted. Even though I thought I was well prepared with enough time, like clock work, I was running late! Everything came out of the oven in a timely manner, and Ryan cleaned up after me as I went. What a guy. My sister acted as sous chef once she got here and helped me frost the cupcakes.
Ryan happened to get a rather awesome new "app" for his iphone which allows you to take pictures through different "lenses" and act like different toy cameras. So we took a bunch of antique photos. We'll start with the real ones....
Now for the "antique" photos...
"Look MOM we magically transported back to the 70's just for you! Awww you can thank me later."
All in all everything was great! We drank mimosas, my sister brought delicious bread (she's still got Fennell in her blood) and salad. Everyone enjoyed it. Although Owen was distracted by Aunties drum set. We were all very impressed with his skills! My favorite was him playing all drums and cymbal and shouting the ABC's at the top of his lungs.

Looks like the cupcakes were a winner. Sarah is so darn gorgeous and mom is one lucky mama!
Aw wish I could have been there, instead of in my near unconscious state of periodic hallucination. But I ate a cupcake this morning and it was delicious!
Ahhh sheesh! Thanks Lynda! I'm one lucky daughter! She's pretty rad.
B you were there in baking spirit. If it wasn't for all your cool stuff, it wouldn't have happened. I'm glad you're feeling betta!
