Sky

I couldn't stop staring at the sky today. In the morning the pale gray-blue shone through tatters of clouds, then everything turned dark and the rain fell. By the afternoon the sun favored us for a brief shining moment - a flash of blue sailed past - before evening took over and turned everything into a deep twilit navy. Even as it got dark the sky seemed full of potential - more rain, probably!

Even better than blue sky are this boy's sky-blue eyes. I declare he gets cuter (and more ornery) every day. Today I let him feed himself with a spoon. He really got "into" it, as you can see. Vegetable dahl never tasted so good.
