Can Spring be far behind?

Yes, I have wacky garden art. Dragons under the ceanothus bush.

Fairies among the daffodils.

Looks like the daffodils will bloom before my birthday this year. I so look forward to seeing their big yellow heads, like sunshine personified. Right now their stalks are the prettiest shade of green in the backyard.

Every once in awhile the sun comes out and reminds me that spring is just around the corner. I read a "Frog and Toad" story to Owen the other night about just that idea. They went around corner after corner until at last they turned around the corner of the house and "Ta Da!" they found spring! I think it will take a few more corners, but we're getting closer every day.

Sunshine! We went on that same walk today, searching for signs of Spring. Keeps us hopeful.

Are bulbs blooming earlier and earlier each year in America. They are here. Flowering daffs are one example of where the colour yellow is fabulous.

Yes, it seems to happen here too. Some day they'll be blooming right around Christmas...
