Our motto

It's an up and down kind of day in the black and white house today. Cranky kid, crabby baby, everyone seems tired and out for mischief. Friends came to play this morning, but winding down has proven difficult. The sun is out for awhile - I think a walk is in order. (Even if a nap is really what I want - theirs and mine.) We have a guest (of the Two Red Doors variety - thank heavens!) to look forward to this evening so a little housecleaning is probably in order, too. And this time I promise not to stash the dirty dishes in the oven...
