When I get dressed I often wonder, "If I were to fall down a rabbit hole or get sucked into a parallel universe this afternoon would I be comfortable with what I'm wearing?" Maybe I think about this more than the average person, but I've always had the nagging suspicion that I just might fall into some amazing adventure and should be dressed appropriately. I only hope I don't walk through a wardrobe on a day when I'm in a hurry and throw on some lame sweats and stained t-shirt.
We just watched The Day The Earth Stood Still (new version) and could barely focus on the movie, distracted as I was by Jennifer Connolly's scarf. It's the details, people.

Hehe! I completely understand :)
Every day when I get dressed, I go through the same thing. The wrong outfit can ruin an entire day. The whole day I will be thinking, "I hope I don't get sucked down the rabbit hole today- totally wrong shoes for it!"
I had to immediately image search the scarf. I see what you mean. I did the same thing with an episode of Firefly, only it was a sweater that River was wearing.
What I mean to say is..."I'm with ya!"
